I love you Tina. And you're not wrong about Trump's manifold virtues. However Israel is in a struggle for its very existence. As soon as Iran gets an atomic bomb, which could be very soon now, that bomb will be detonated in Israel. Perhaps millions will die. Perhaps the world will descend into conflagration, aided by Iran's fellow dictators. It's good to keep these facts in mind
Israel is in a frightening position I agree, but Bibi has been saying since the late 90s that that a bomb development is imminent and I just fear the echoes of Iraq. I would love to to see their nuclear facilities obliterated but , as Tom Friedman once says, " once and for all" rarely applies to the middle easts.
Personally I think Iran desperately needs to defend itself from warmongering Israel. The country that seems impervious to widespread international criticism, and wantonly spreads chaos and death everywhere it looks..
I don’t agree that Trump is itching to drop bunker busters. He’s basically averse to actual wars, no matter how much he likes military parades. He’s all hat, no cattle.
He is averse to wars, but he does love excitement - and success. As i noted his attitude to the possibility of joining began to change after seeing Israel getting credit for the skill of it its strikes on Iran.
I really enjoy these substacks. I think perhaps more people on substack should go for a smaller number of points in detail rather than offering 50+?=** of Cathy’s quality abc relevance.

Completely agree. The stakes are very high. Seventh century religious fanatics with atom bombs is a terrifying thought.
and so is an administration as ignorant as this one in charge of the decision., I fear.
Brilliance with a giggling closure!!
glad you giggled. Not much to laugh about theses days! T
As always, 😉. Makes my day!
Bless you, beloved reader!
This is the most concerned I’ve ever been. All the posturing, all the threats, and not a word I’d believe coming from any direction.
This is the problem. Figuring out any kind of truth coming from any direction

We shall see.
