So insightful. I wish the royal family could have you as an advisor. You probably could have helped the Democratic Party as well. People so often don’t see themselves clearly. Even if Harry doesn’t come back we must do something to get the Democrats back on their feet! Thank you for your clarity. It’s brisk but welcome!

Thanks for this. Unfortunately the Royals never listen to any advice though they seek a lot of it! T

Huh! Word trickling down through my three degrees of separation from D.C. is that while Trump is proposing blanket tariffs against the EU, he’s open to offering the UK tariff-free status—which would make the UK the only tariff-free route from Europe to the U.S. If that's true, the isolationist Trump regime stands to make Britain a staggering amount of money.

Gosh, this is magnificent. Just one tiny thing niggled - I was a massive fan of Harry's when he was in Royal active service and he is hugely missed over here, but he did CHOOSE to be benched. If they came back, I would stand in the street to welcome them.

Yes you are right on this. He did choose it but he also was in a total psychic muddle and was ridiculously naive. I do think he's probably learned his lesson, but should realize the the book was a very hard pill for the family to swallow T

Tina, I’d love to know your thoughts on how The Crown depicted Diana’s last days.

Thought the Crown was pretty much on the nose. Thought she was very complicated and did a lot of very self destructive things T

The wasp retiring would welcome in a softer edge. Harry and Megan’s return could usher in a healthy dose of humanity and lighten the load. I agree that Queen Elizabeth set the bar on how to put the best possible face forward for royals and the British people. I enjoyed your perspective.

Thank you Tina for your insightful article. While GB might begrudgingly welcome Harry's return in the distant future (very distant, I believe), do you think the populace will accept his wife as well, unless of course they divorce by that time?

I think the populace would accept Meghan if she could just make one tiny gesture of regret. As in, that was a very tough time for me but time has passed and I would love a new beginning with the British people. Then saying nothin for another year! T

Interesting point, Tina. However, Meghan doesn't have the capacity for feeling, much less verbalizing, regret. Her unbridled naricissm is the only authentic emotion she has.
