Thank you for this excellent summit summary. I guest lecture at UW Madison in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications and will share this with the faculty. What a shot in the arm. It revs me up for the fight. Thank you Sir Harry and the torchbearer, Tina. I felt like I was there.

I binge-watched the entire summit. This is so awesome, needed and massively important for both our society and the running of the world. For young journalists particularly this TTS is a Godsend and can help them get started and provides a place to go to make the all important connections. With many of the people on stage, they came of age in a very different era and they can transition to podcasts, blogs, etc. as they have a name which "is" their brand. For young journalists it is such a tough climb and this summit I am sure is a huge help. I am not in the journalism business (I am an interior designer and real estate developer) but as a consumer of news I thank you most sincerely for producing these yearly summits. Also, what a great idea to provide a favorite book list from the speakers! I now have my summer reading taken care of!!!

For the book list alone!

I just subscribed, because of the power of this post- I am deeply moved, and reconnected to the integrity, optimism and fierceness of this profession. Now I shall insist on re-incarnation as journalist rather than lotus-eater, which is what I was leaning towards at the Pearly Gates. May each of you RIDE dragons into the battles ahead of, and around you. Thank you Tina for all that you do, 'forwards and in heels'!

Great stuff, as ever, Sir Harry Evans used the Sunday Times to expose the full murky story of the Cambridge Spies. And of course Thalidomide. That’s a lot of truth

The quote from the Reuters CEO is brilliant. “The tech industry has done a wonderful job of flattening everything to the point where a cat video and a thoroughly investigated, fact-based, independent piece of journalism are on a level playing field. I think that’s the great travesty.” How does a moron make it to the White House? Too many voters gave up on actual news to watch cat videos… no wonder they get to the polling station unaware of what is happening in their own country.

The correct answer is of course Scoop. Make sure that photographer has her camera pointed at Prince Louis whenever possible… I’m not sure what truth is revealed but it is always entertaining.

Typo: you say "Truth Truth Summit" in a link near the top. You may wanna correct that!

Congrats on your role in truth-spreading. God bless you and Harry.

Excellence beyond measure sums it up from me. I also appreciate the bonus of the reading list. Harry would be so proud of everything. Thank you for all your efforts.

Thank you for your summit and public recognition of the incredible journalists of this world. I have always said the real heroes of today are our journalists, not only are they brave enough to wage into the midst of a battle, but they now face a battle with politicians and oligarchs banning the truth.

I love this so much. I see that we are citizens are refusing to be scared, too - organizing, rallying, supporting new candidates who never thought they'd run for office but now feel the call to act. Bravery is just as contagious as fear and makes much better company. Thank you for illuminating the world so we can all shine.

And so do you, Tina.

We must always remember the remarkable, extraordinary Harry Evans.

Endorsed by the Pope! It doesn’t get much better than that. What an inspiring event.

PS I agree completely with All the President’s Men reccy. It inspired my generation and may it long continue to inspire others.

Thank you for letting us in on a terrific forum. What a stellar class. It challenges and humbles me to be on the far edge of those exalted circles. The Truth Teller summits remind me, in a way, of the fabulous Women in the World summits you held at Lincoln Center over ten years ago. What a treat to watch and listen.

Bravo for all this Tina - and for reclaiming the word 'truth' in media circles and for your message from Pope Leo. I watched all day online - I had both the youtube channel and the reuters feed going in case one dropped off. both channels beamed without blinking all day 🥳
