Great writing, Tina, but why, or why, does courage always seem to get measured by male genitalia? Surely there is some other form of measurement besides balls, especially when talking about women. Can't we admire courage, moxie and outrage without needing to reference male dominance in the form of hairy old balls.

I agree with mike, Caligulan Caprice (which is not a 70s Chevrolet, I checked) is the phrase of the day. Fortunately the BBC showed I Claudius again a couple of years ago, the amazing dramatisation of Robert Graves novel “I, Claudius”(made in the 1970s) which showed the full level of depravity of the Roman Emperors from Augustus to Claudius (Tiberius, Nero, Caligula in between).
Caligula is played by John Hurt, who goes completely mad, marries his sister, convinces himself he is a God … it doesn’t end well. But the caprice is the essence of the character, nothing has a reason - if he wants something to happen then it must. There is no reason for anything.
Back to President Trump. He knows nothing about the oil industry, and has no interest in democracy or freedom. In Venezuela or Minnesota.
He is told that he can’t deploy the Army, or the National Guard to Illinois or Minnesota, so he sends barely trained young men with guns - for no reason, other than these are States that didn’t vote for him. This is pathetic, from a man ashamed of his bone spurs.
The President clearly lacks mental capacity. The 25th Amendment is the cleanest solution for this failing president.
Renee Good seems to have been a warm and friendly person, she used the term “dude”. She deserved a better president, more capable of fulfilling the duties of a president.
Sheriff Bilal should be in Trump's cabinet, she would double the average IQ and make sure that Trump stays awake. She is clearly very sensible:
