What a great interview. Whenever I see this kind of exposure of the dark reality of what we are living and how the citizenry is being completely manipulated, (people like Murdoch and the tech bros.), I wonder how many of the MAGA faithful see these kind of exposes. In our society that hardest thing is to admit you are wrong of have been manipulated into voting for an illusion of taking on the elites but in reality are being taken for a ride. If interviews like this keep being produced, keep being spread across the web, my hope is that this tide of hate and division may end or at least the crazy's will not have the loudest voice as they seem to now. Thank you Tina and thank you Gabe Sherman!

Absolutely fantastic interview. Great questions (no surprise!) and Sherman was so concise and insightful about such an insidious and dangerous man. Excellent as usual Ms. Brown.

I was in NYC around 2013 with a friend and her sister who had been married to media mogul. While we were chatting at a cafe, her cell phone rang. It was her sons who were in Italy with their dad, her now former husband. When she got off the phone she had a wry smile. It seems the sons were getting an ear full about the new wife who was lending their ski chalet to Wendy Deng to have an affair with Tony Blair. He was furious. I had no idea who Wendy Deng was until a Vanity Fair article brought me up to speed.

One hope from all this is that the similarities between Murdoch and Trump include nil loyalty. May indicate that if Trump toddles off to count his gold bars and play golf he’ll throw all his underlings under the bus. He won’t care less who governs after he leaves. In fact I suspect he’ll prefer a Democrat to win in order that he’s not overshadowed- as if that’s even possible.
